Life Insurance

Life insurance is a cost-effective way to protect your family and your finances. It helps ensure your short- and long-term financial obligations could be met if something unforeseen happens to you. What’s more important than knowing your loved ones are protected?

What’s New for 2026?

All salaried monthly and non-exempt weekly employees hired on or after 4/1/2012 and employees hired prior to 4/1/2012 that previously waived life insurance will be enrolled in 1x base annual salary at no cost!

Salaried monthly and non-exempt employees can increase their supplemental life insurance by one level without having to complete evidence of insurability.  If you increase your life insurance coverage for more than one level or add or increase spouse life insurance during annual enrollment, the election will be subject to Evidence of Insurability. MetLife will send you an email requesting additional information approximately 2 weeks after open enrollment.

ATLC and IGUA employees

Bargaining Unit employees will remain in 2x base annual salary. If you elect or increase your life insurance coverage for you or your spouse during annual enrollment, the election will be subject to Evidence of Insurability. MetLife will send you an email requesting additional information approximately 2 weeks after Open Enrollment ends.
