
Health Care Flexible Spending Account
All employees are eligible to enroll in this benefit except for casual employees and those employees enrolled in the Consumer Choice medical plan and are eligible for the Health Care Flexible Spending Account. Employees can contribute up to $3,300 for 2026.
This is an account that allows you to put pre-tax money aside to pay for medical, prescription, dental, and vision expenses for you and your family.
You need to estimate your expenses for the upcoming year carefully, during the annual benefits Open Enrollment, when deciding how much to contribute to the FSAs. According to IRS rules, any money left in your account will be forfeited.
If you elect a Health Care Flexible Spending Account for 2026, after you are set up in the Optum system, you will receive information about how to set up an account on the Optum website.
