Prescription Drug Coverage

Prescription drug coverage is through Express Scripts and is included in your medical plan.

Members will continue to have the choice of filling maintenance medications at their local pharmacy or through Express Scripts home delivery for a 90-day supply. Nonmaintenance medications and new prescriptions can continue to be filled for a 30-day supply at a retail pharmacy. Certain rules may apply to your prescription such as prior authorizations, step therapy, smart 90-exclusive, or member pays the difference. See the Summary Plan Description for a description of these rules.

Note: When you use the price a medication tool, you will be alerted if any of these rules apply.
